Minimal Incision Facial Surgery

Reduce the Effects of Aging and the Appearance of Jowls and Deep Folds with a Minimal Incision Facelift.

Is a Minimal incision Rhytidectomy (Facelift) right for me?

Tighten, lift and smooth the skin along the jaw, with minimal surgery, for a more youthful look.

A Minimal Incision Facelift (MIF) is indicated for patients that have mild to moderate jowls but do not have loose skin or heaviness in the neck area. MIF decreases the prominence of jowls and marionettes by tightening the skin along the jawline but will not lift the skin under the chin or neck, as a regular facelift would.

A Precise Procedure, Significant Results – A Day Surgery with improvements in just weeks

  • A minimal incision facelift surgery is still performed under general anesthesia at the Hospital as a day surgery (from early morning to late afternoon)
  • Length of surgery is approximately 2-3 hours
  • Incisions are well concealed in the hairline and around the ear. Incisions do not extend to the back of the ear in the hairline, as would a regular facelift.
  • Sutures are removed 7-10 days post procedure.
  • Significant improvements of the jowls, marionettes can be seen just a few weeks after surgery.
  • Recovery periods may vary from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the individual.
